Douglas Pritchard appears with fellow Orlando Philharmonic colleagies as part of the soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino's upcoming: INGLORIOUS BASTERDS.
Music Produced and Arranged by Michael Andrew of Swingerheads fame. Douglas Pritchard performs viola with string quartet musicians to create an old Victrola Record style mix of "The Man with the Big Sombrero." The recording session will help with stacking audio and sweetening the score.
Leading the quartet was Tamas Kocsis, who invited Douglas to join the fun and record in the session. A longtime friend of Mr. Pritchard, Mr. Kocsis is the current Concertmaster of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. A native of Budapest, Hungary, Tamas has also appeared in a past Cadenza Entertainment show for the Orlando Phil entitled "Tales From The Vienna Coffee House." Douglas is also proud of his friend Tamas's recent knighthood: Sir Kocsis was recently honored with a Knighthood in Budapest. He is now a member of the Ancient Order of Knights, "The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem." He was accepted at the highest possible rank of Commander.
Tarantino's WWII era period film will feature an ensemble cast of stars: Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Samuel Jackson and many more.
