We recently made a trip to LA and the REBEL PLANET film festival, to help represent a short we helped work on entitled: "Once Upon A Christmas Village." Starring Jim Belushi and Tim Curry, we were pleased and honored when the film won Best Animation and Best of Show.
Cadenza Entertainment provided a Behind the Scenes Featurette and Interview with show creator Michael Attardi and Score Composer Dani Donadi.
Cadenza Entertainment also provided the Orchestra Contractor and String Musicians for the soundtrack, as well as the Live Music Recording Supervisor. The short won numerous awards at several international festivals, including a Telly Award for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. It also won acclaim with best of show awards at the Garden State Film Festival and Best Animation at the Nashville Film Festival.
Update: The story of "Once Upon A Christmas Village" is now in development as a full feature film entitled SNOWYVILLE. Currently in production at the Dream Balloon Studios complex in Orlando, FL. Slated as a holiday animated feature, Snowyville's anticipated release date is 2010.
